Try logging in with the first letter of your first name and your entire last name (example: Charli Atlas would have catlas as the username). You may have one or more numbers at the end of your username (example: catlas1 or catlas112). If that doesn't work, please visit any campus Atlas Access Lab with a valid photo ID to obtain your Atlas username. This patch addresses issues for Internet Explorer versions 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. We have learned from a few users, that this patch causes users who have logged into Atlas to be immediately logged out when a link is selected within Atlas. We are currently engaged looking into this issue, and we will keep you updated as we learn more about this. In the meantime, if you experience these issues with Internet Explorer after the security upgrade, please log in to Atlas with another web browser, such as Firefox. Having trouble accessing your Atlas e-mail (including from your mobile device)? Follow these steps: Login to your Atlas account On the My Atlas tab, in the upper left corner, click on Change Password Enter your current Atlas Password Enter your new Atlas Password twice After receiving the message that your Atlas password has been successfully reset, log out of your Atlas account Wait 5 minutes Log back into your Atlas account. You should have access to your e-mail. Notification of Rights under FERPA This portal gives you access to your education records. These records are protected under a federal law called "The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act" (FERPA). Under this law, you have the following rights: To inspect and review your record. To request an amendment of your records if you believe something is inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise in violation of your rights. To be asked for written consent before the College discloses personally identifiable information from your record, except under certain exceptions under this law and except for Directory Information: your name; your program of study; your dates of attendance; and any honors, degrees or awards you received. If you do not wish for this information to be released, please visit the Answer Center on any campus or email records_graduation@valenciacollege.edu . The right to file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education concerning alleged failures by Valencia College to comply with FERPA.
